Peter Merry lead the field in this Casino Medal.
In this competition players can halve their medal score on three pre-declared "joker" holes. Peter cut 6 shots off his gross by his wise choice of jokers. Handicaps have been assessed using the total gross score without taking jokers into account. As the table indicates the Casino result can depend on the wise choice of jokers.

Bob Flaherty's remarkable 7-under par score won this medal competition despite being chased hard by a posse of 5 sub-par competitors.
Bob recorded 10 birdies in his round which were reduced by 3 bogies. 47 is the lowest net score ever recorded in the club's history. It was first recorded by Roger Stevens when he set the course record (Gross 50, net 47) on 5 October 2019. Roger Stevens came close to equalling his own course record with his medal score of gross 51 (net 50) to win this medal by 4 clear shots.
Meanwhile, the players counted their putts to compete for the secondary prize of "Fewest Putts". Unsurprisingly, Roger scooped that as well, taking only 22 putts to complete 18 holes. |
