Peter Merry and Simon Dewhurst led the field in this medal, both returnig scores of 1-under par. It required 2 rounds of count-back for Peter to secure pole position.

Players were blessed with fine, sunny weather but that did not appear to be generally conducive to low scoring.

Hector James was presented with the Peter Barclay Winter League Salver on 11 April.

The first Medal of the new season resulted in a  victory for Paul Fields. His 2-under par score was 1 shot better than his nearest rival, Colin Ayling.
