After a 7-day weather postponement of this 36-hole trophy competition, round 1 was played on 11 November. Again, seven days later, weather forced a further delay to the start of round 2.
The weather did not deter Robin Welland who took 7 shots off his first-round score to tie for the overall lead with Richard Moseley. On count-back Robin was awarded the victory by virtue of his better second round score.
Simon Dewhurst's 3-under par and 3 shots clear of the field easily won the medal section of this dual competition.
While playing the medal, players earn a "star" each time their tee-shot lands on the green. Roger Stevens won this section by accumulating 7 stars.
