Half the field in this medal equalled or beat nett par. Best of the bunch with scores of 4-under, were Paul Fields and John Roberts. On countback, Paul had the better last-9 and was declared the winner.

Rick Poyser's disappointing medal score was cheered by putting his tee-shot in the hole for an ace on the 17th hole.
