Hector James bested a small entry field to win this stableford by 2 points. Roger Stevens and Iain Powell both returned matching scores, but the countback rule showed Roger's last-nine to be the better to gain second place.

The forecast of thunder storms did not deter 16 members from playing in the 'Awayday' at Ampfield in 6th September. Their faith was rewarded and they had to contend only with the occasional rain shower which didn't spoil a very enjoyable day.
Roger Stevens successfully defended his title and retains the Awayday Trophy. One shot behind, Iain Powell, took second prize while Paul Ayling took the prize for nearest the pin.
