Summer Trophy 2022

On a fine day when more than half the field parred the course, Colin Ayling's 4-under par scooped the 2022 Summer Trophy from Derek Grimston and Richard Moseley by 1 shot.

Paul Fields aced the 3rd hole to record the club's 26th hole in one.

Paul Fields' 3-under nett par clearly won this medal with 4 players tying for second place on level par.
A second prize for the fewest putts was clearly won by Robin Welland, who completed all 18 holes using only 22 putts.

Lionel Whyton's exeptional score of 63 with a handicap of 14 produced the winning nett 49 total and victory in this club Medal event.
On a fine sunny day, most players were able to return creditable cards.

An exciting finish with 3 players scoring 39 points, Rick Poyser prevailing, after count-back, with a superb 20 point finish on the home 9 holes closely followed by Roger Stevens with a 19 point finish.
