The dismal weather generally put a dampener on the scoring but Keith Brown overcame the conditions with a net 4-under par to win the medal section. Roger Stevens (H'cap 2) succeeded in finding the green 7 times well ahead of his nearest rival.

Two-thirds of the players returned scores of net par or better and Rick Poyser was the best of the bunch with a 4-under par. Paul Ayling completed 9 consecutive holes using only 10 puts and that enabled him to take the prize for fewest puts with a total of 23. |
