In a Casino Stableford, players gamble a "joker" on 3 holes to earn double points. 3 birdies on those holes can earn an extra 9 stableford points. Julius Buckle didn't quite make that, but a net eagle on hole 15 compensated producing 8 extra points on his 3 jokers and a total of 47 points to lead the field by 2 points
